Workshop on science and human rights

Article 15 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights recognizes the right of everyone "to enjoy the benefits of scientific progress and its applications." Together with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the American Philosophical Association (APA), and the Department of Philosphy at UD, SEPP will sponsor a workshop to bring together experts in ethics, law, and science to consider the challenges of implementing this right.
